Hi from YCC!

There’s always something new and exciting happening at YCC!  Even when it’s not summer, we’re planning awesome programs, building cool new places & adventures, hiring incredible staff and re-uniting with YCC campers and new families at ‘parlour meetings’ throughout the city.

We’re especially pleased that Stu Guttman (Assistant Director in charge of Senior Side) Sara Abrams (Junior Side Program Director), and Marcy the Camp Mother will be joining us again for ‘Summer 2010’. Stu, Sara and Marcy represent the ideal YCC staff person – friendly, experienced, creative, and the ability to make special connections with campers, staff and parents.

An exciting new addition to our waterfront program is the new “Floating Dock”, which will be a super fun place to hang out, go diving, sunbathe, or dock your canoe, located between Jr. and Sr. Beach. What a great way for kids of all ages to get the most out of our ‘kid-friendly’ waterfront programs.

Our 2009 Yearbook will be out in a couple of months, with great pictures and reminders of last year’s incredible summer – keep checking our Website and we’ll let you know as soon as they’re available.

Fashion Show 2010 – If your child (grades 4 and up) is interested in being part of our annual Fashion Show/Dance Fundraiser, please get in touch with Stephen ( ‘Rabin’) at the camp office – (514) 737-6551, ext. 516. This terrific program – which connects YCC campers and staff during the winter months – will be taking place at the end of March – everyone who auditions is included, even if you will not be at YCC this summer.
